Thomas Rouillec
Loft Manager

Thomas Rouillec’s mom didn’t like being in the kitchen, so he turned this into a strength: from an early age, it was decided that he would learn to “entertain”! Having grown up in a small town near Le Mans, he headed south to enroll at the Institut Vatel in Bordeaux. This prestigious establishment would later open the doors to some of the world’s most prestigious establishments. He cut his teeth with Philippe Etchebest and continued his career in the 5-star hotel business.
In the end, it was not in the kitchen, but as a butler that he served a demanding clientele. A winter at Les Airelles on the slopes of Courchevel, a summer at the Hôtel du Golf in Deauville, then a long-term position at Le Normandy… It was then that he decided to settle down, having fallen under the indescribable charm of the Côte Fleurie and the Pays d’Auge.
This welcoming region reminds him of the countryside of his childhood, with a certain added touch of luxury. But one thing is certain: instead of the often outdated luxury of grand palaces, Guests now prefer the authenticity and intimacy of a stay in a beautiful home, where their every wish is catered for, whether they own it or not. Rather than go down with a hotel industry left bloodless by the pandemic, Thomas prefers to forge ahead, accompanying Alfred in the creation of a new form of private reception.
